The start of a painting of Sophie and a little bird. I took a ton of photos this weekend to work from, I am just itching to get at them all!

Today we all took a break to go to the townwide Balloon Parade - all the preschools in town get together for a picnic and music at our park, and then each school gave out balloons and they all paraded around the perimeter. It was quite colorful, Sophie got to walk with her friend from class, and if Angela and Peter could have refrained from screaming and bludgeoning each other over the head with their ballooons, it could have been quite idyllic.
